Handwired LLC ("we", "us", or "our") operates handwired.co. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Information We Collect
We collect information only when you provide it directly or consent to analytics:
- Purchase information — when you buy a product, Stripe processes your payment. We receive your email address to send your download link. We do not store your card details.
- Analytics — if you accept cookies, we use Google Analytics (GA4) to collect anonymised data about page views, traffic sources, and general usage. This data does not identify you personally.
- Email — if you contact us directly, we retain your email to respond.
How We Use Your Information
- To deliver purchased digital products via a download link
- To understand how visitors use our site (analytics, consent required)
- To respond to enquiries
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Cookies
We use a single localStorage key (hw_consent) to remember your cookie preference. If you accept analytics, Google Analytics sets its own cookies (_ga, _ga_*) to distinguish visitors. You can decline at any time by clearing your browser's local storage.

Data Retention
Purchase records (email + download token) are retained for 12 months for support purposes, then deleted. Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics defaults (14 months).
